Conditional Email Redirection (10 December 2008)

Script will check/receive email for classified ad posting confirmations and replies. The confirmation emails will be from a known sender have a URL in the body of the email that has a unique posting id number as well other other information pertaining to city, sub-city and category. That information will be extracted/parsed and go into a database. Reply emails will contain the unique id number in the headers, usually in the "to" or "cc" fields. Whenever a reply email is received, the script will cross-reference the unique post id number in the database, and redirect the email to a pre-assigned email address based on the city and category of the post.

For example, an ad posting confirmation is received with a URL in the body that indicates a post id of 123456, with a city of Sometown and a category of Boats. A reply email is received that has 123456 in the "to" field, so the script redirects the email to the address which is assigned to Sometown Boats.

While not common, if email replies are received for which there is no match in the database, these will be stored for manual assignment. For example, if ad replies are received indicating a post id of 34567 in the "to" field, but no ad confirmation for 34567 has been received, there will be a holding area where we manually assign a city/category for 34567, and the held emails will subsequently get redirected, as well as future emails which reference that same post id.

Regarding the term "redirect" we intend that the original "from" and "to" addresses will stay intact, similar to how gmail does automatic forwarding, for example.

The database will retain information on all of the emails it has processed, so that statistics may be analyzed such as the number of ads that have been posted during a selected timeframe, the number of replies processed for each ad, the number of replies for each city, or the number of replies for each category etc.

We are looking for a Clipshare expert to make two modifications to Clipshare 4

1. Ability to upload/download/play MP3 audio files. The Mod will all the uploading of MP3s. The file will remain as an MP3 and be included in the Clipshare database just like the videos. Views will be able to download and listen to the MP3 file. Functionality must be the same as with videos.

2. Ability to upload files from within the siteadmin interface of Clipshare 4, both video files (which should be converted to flv once uploaded) and MP3 files. The feature should be similar to the upload feature available on the front-end of Clipshare. The site admin should be able to turn off front-end uploading while still being able to upload from the siteadmin.

When complete, modifications are to be installed on our Clipshare 4 site. The project will be deemed complete when the mods are installed and fully functional on our site.

Hi, I require a hit generator that will work with YouTube/Metacafe and a few other sites. I want to be able to generate around 1,000 hits per day and if possible, have each hit going from a different site (ie; going from the server it is hosted on and crawling through one or two random sites before it gets to its destination for cloaking purposes), as well as the ability for each "hit" to randomly click links on the page it is being directed to to make it look more legitimate.

Current functionality: Document Requestor creates profiles, logs in, uses custom forms to order documents, enters credit card info, and submits data. Submitted data goes through a workflow including document logic checks (i.e. card info is valid number digits, etc) sends emails to client and client admin informing of new order. Admin signs into secure page to get order and manually process credit card. When order ready, admin changes staus which notifies client via email that order ready

Your company, Super Outdoor Store, carry outdoor activity items such as Shoes, Tent, Shirt, and so on. Your boss at IT department wants you to create an inventory system so that the company can keep track of how many items are now at hand. In addition to keep track number of items in the system, your system also keep track how many particular items has been sold. To simplify your project, you only need to keep track how many items had been sold from the beginning of the running of your system to date. So don't worry about the query such as “from 2005 to 2006 how many tents sold”. Your system allows you to set up a trigger for all the items when the inventory is under certain number. For example, if total number of Dorm type tents will be under 5 after the current shipment (if it was 6 originally and after a customer ordered 2, then 4 will be left and less than five), your system will output a message saying something like “Reorder Dorm Type Tents, Now!”. Of course, your system allows user to enter new item (new product), delete existing item (won't carry any longer), check if a certain item is on stock, if yes, how many. Your system also allows you to print information about all items on your system. The information include Item ID, Item Name, Description of the item, Quantity At Hand, Price of each item, How many sold, and other information you think shall be in an inventory system. You may include “Last Reorder Date” if you also implement date information each time a transaction occurred. Note this feature is not required in your project, but definitely a feature in all real inventory system. After discuss with your team members, you might have questions about the specification, Let your boss know about the ambiguity, or questions about the spec. In our case, let your instructor or your GA know and ask for clarification. Your system shall have a menu interface like most of your other program assignments. After you select a menu item, submenu items may show up if further information is required to complete that action. Design your project by first set up a model, determine what components are needed. During an instance of game play a user may be awarded a bonus game (this is a sub-game which is launched from within the original game) which will potentially be chained to further bonus games. There are three database tables representing the data associated with a user playing a game.

1. chainGameGroupRecords: summarises of a set of chained games (an entry for each chain group)
2. chainGameRecords: summarises each chained game
3. 1. gameRecords: summarises a set of every single game played (including normal games, and each individual bonus game within a chain)

If stake type is Z or X, use chainGameGroupRecords.this_stake ...if stake_sort is Y, use gameRecords.stakes

The stake_sort for a chain game will always be one of X, Y or Z.

If there is no record in chainGameRecords associated with the gameRecords (i.e. it is not a chain game) then use gameRecords.stakes

NOTE: When a game is played which has a chain game, a line is inserted in gameRecords. If the chain game is played an entry is made into chainGameRecords, if it is not played no entry is made into chainGameRecords (but still gameRecords). I think this will mean an outer join should be used between gameRecords and chainGameRecords - but if you think otherwise don't stick to this thought. The use of Unions are acceptable in the solution.

I currently have a music website where people can upload they're gig videos. In my admin section i simply click a button which converts the file they've uploaded into .flv . Usually on smaller files it works ok but with poor video quality.
Though sometimes it says 'error try again'.. as if it can't convert the file, though i think this is because the bit rate is set too high on the file or too low on the converter?
Once it has converted i can click accept, which moves it into the videos file in admin and it becomes active throughout the website. Maximum file size is set to 100mb

Basically im looking for someone to improve the video and sound quality of the player. Possibly improve the settings to accept higher rates within the 100mb limit. www.upcomingbeats.com
