Script will track hit stats for hosted images, including the referring URLs. The images can be hosted on various external domains (which we'll have full cpanel/ftp access to), and this script will be able to access the data. So the script may reside on one domain, but the images may be hosted on many others. Script should be intelligent so we don't have to manually tell it that there are new images to track on the existing domains. Script will be able to show data by date range, sort columns by ascending/descending, and be able to display info such as how many hits to each image or how many hits from each referring URL. We also want to be able to view data for partial urls. For example, if images are being called by multiple pages from the same referring domain, we will want to be able to view statistics based on domains, subdomains, and subdirectories. We can discuss this in more detail. We want to keep this project very simple but also extensible for future enhancements. |

We have a existing script that submits webpages to search engines. Our database contains more than 250 internationsal search engines. Now we need to update this datafile and adjust searchengine data. For that we want the following: - A script that builds a catalog from our search engine data and automatically spiders the webpage of the searchengine. The final catalog should be sortable by Pakerank of the searchengine, Language, Title, Description, Metatags, Topleveldomain (all the data that we can spider automatically) - Build a script that automatically checks if the submit form still takes data. if not mark it in the DB (or catalog) - Build a script that everyone can update a search engine. A simple step by step wizard should be fine. - Finally update all outdated searchengines. We assume that roughly 50 of them are outdated. Our assumption is, that the work will take 2 days. We are also looking forward to a longer lasting business relationship, because we need at least monthly updates to that searchengine DB. I need someone to install an auction script that I purchased to my server and also do minor modifications to the script or redesign it to my liking (colors/layout/skins). Altough Paypal and Google is setup as a payment gateway in the software, I don't believe there currently is a field for the seller to include there paypal or google (payment)email address so that would need to be fixed (instant payment notification with Paypal when using the Buy It Now button). Also I absolutely must have a field for international shipping added. Currently it only has a field to put in a shipping fee for the us. One additional thing. Currently the ask seller a question feature is in a forum format which is fine with me however if this feature is used it sends an email with a link to the seller with the buyers email address, I would need to somehow deactivate the seller receiving the buyers email address before an actual purhase was made. 2nd Server Simple server setup job. Server is running everything it needs expect a IMAP mail server. It will be used only under 1 domain, so 1 domains for the 1 server. It will be running an email marketing script so any tweaks for mailing etc would be handy as it uses alot of resources, MySQL mostly. I have tryed myself but have a few problems with Apache, so this job could simply be a settings tweak. The only error i get is ""You don't have permission to access /admin/index.php on this server. Hi Im not even sure that this can be done.... basically i have an heavily modded oscommerce shop, and a website that has all the products in the shop but with full descriptions and photos etc. Each product on the website links to the product in the shopping cart, which if there are no attributes then adds the product into the cart - where the customer can checkout... however if the product has attributes, they then have to go through the product listing, and select the required attributes. is there any way that the attributes could be dispayed on a normal html page and sent as a form, thereby passing the products listing page example, say i have a webpage all about the ipod, i also have the ipod in my shop it would be great on my html webpage to show that there were attributes / pink / blue etc, so the customer can select - then checkout can this be done - basically i love what oscommerce back end does, but the shopping experience is dire !! |

What I am looking for is to be able to find out the top searched keywords, for a specific region. I guess I could provide a seed keyword, and pull a list of related keywords(probably sourced from the other Google Keyword tool). Not even sure if this is possible. I have about 500 lines of perl code that I would like to convert to C. The main goal behind this is performance optimization, namely with memory. The code makes a lot of use of 2d Perl Arrays and Hashtables. Most of the code is around reading in comma separated files, putting the data into a hashtable, and then running some computations based on what is in the hashtable. Right now the main data structure is a 2d hashtable, where the value of the hash is an array of values. This array of values takes up a lot of memory in Perl, and can likely be compressed to a data structure that is roughly 40x smaller. Please only bid on this if you know how to profile code, assess memory leaks, work with pointers, malloc, and know how to compress data into small and efficient data structures. Furthermore, in order to qualify to bid on this, you must take this piece of perl code and rewrite it in a different way so that it does the same thing but is written with at least 10 less characters "while (<>) { print lc($_);}" |
